uncle peter and aunt are over today..
and they're now discussing abt the inheritance..
its quite sad to hear this...
feels like my granny is gonna die anytime..
talking abt the will.. money and all..
i've lost my grandpa.. i dun wanna lose her..
in fact, i dun wanna lose anyone i love..
but i've lost some..
some pple i should've cherished but i dint..
but well.. thats life i guess....
all these trials and tribulations are there..
not for fun.. but for a reason..

there's a hard and rocky road ahead of me..
but will i succumb to it?
no.. im strong.. i'll survive all these....
i've been told i'll live to a ripe old age...
and my life is gonna be a successful one..
so there's definitely more things happening..
i may fall down.. i may rise up..
but i'll survive all these...
with my family & frens supporting me..
i wont lose so easily..

but for now..
i'll just keep those i love close to my heart..
for one, i think i'll visit my granny more often..
im gonna try to establish a strong r/ship..
with each and every one that i hold dear..
my family and girlfriends..
are gonna be my top priority..
studies only come in second...

i've a dream to realise...

happening

tired after all the activities for the weekend..
yesterday met my jc frens for dinner..
ate at PS's swensens.. baked rice was filling..
after that.. pool.. till 10 plus 11..
seriously, i was kinda sick of playing pool..
its just.... plain boring if you keep playing...
supposed to go zouk yesterday....
a mere 10 bucks if you go in before 10pm..
and its inclusive of 2 drinks!!
then somehow.. pool became the main activity..
and its after 10pm... dint wanna go liao..
waste extra $$ just to go in... dun wan...
if before 10.. i definitely on.. but no..
then went home after that la..
and zonked out soon after i laid on my bed...

this morning.. met my dear buddy and her bf..
supposed to have breakfast together @ sengkang..
but ended up having lunch...
i told her i was going to be there at 1130..
and i was on time!! she reached at 12 lor!!
wah lao... she stay in sengkang..
i had to take the nth-sth line.. and transfer nel..
but still earlier than her.. doinks..
but nvm la.. who ask her to be my buddy..
had a very very filling lunch indeed..
then rushed back to town to meet bao for movie..
justin and hongjun joined us for the movie too..
watched 'harry potter' today... *yay!*
the show is AWESOME~ very exciting..
eugene told me to bu yao ji dong.. lols..
i was so into the show man.. damn nice..
a must watch for all..
but it seems like not many guys like 'harry potter'..
heard that eugene fell asleep during the movie..
and buddy said her bf also..

i dunno la... but its nice~
after that.. swensen's again... 24hr one..
ordered topless 5 and fries.. godly.. lols..
then went to chomp chomp for dinner..
havent been there for soooo long~
each spent abt 10 bucks in total...
and there were 8 of us in total... wah~
bao, rena, shi, vic, kok, hongjun, herman..
ate seafood, kangkong, prawn mee..
oyster omelette, wah guei, choc cake!
lols.. filling... and fattening.. haha..
enjoyed my night today..
but tired.. reached home not long ago..
haa... but its good.. pretty fun..
and thank god NO POOL today!

tmr gotta help mom clean up the place..
next week's the party..
mebbe tmr night we can go out walk walk..

feel like everything is so boring ard me..
nowadays when im out..
its just window shopping.. walking ard...

but perhaps when i get a job first...

r/ships hurt... believe it or not...
and we often wish we could live without them...
i wish i can live without it too...
but im sorry.. we just cant...
cause like it or not..
r/ships began the moment your born...
and from then on.. its unavoidable..
be it @ home, at work or at play...
some are more fortunate than others..
leading a life of simpler r/ships...
and we just hafta believe..
that how enjoyable a person's life can be..
is totally dependant on:
how he/she develops relationships with others...
each and every single all of us..
need to know more about handling r/ships..
so that we can interact with others...
either in sports or in a corporate world...
close relationships are required..
so as to build a winning team..
we're all part of a team...
whether at school, work or play..
perhaps differing in some ways..
thus we hafta build an excellent relationship..
with partners at home and at work..

and what i feel is that..
since each and every one needs to haf r/ships..
we hafta haf great r/ships with those ard us..
which means.. we need to work on it..
but before we can do all that...
we must be willing to change..
we need to develop meanings in our lives..
and be that 'better person'...
yes.. keyword here is 'better person'...
wads impt in a r/ship..
would be honesty, trust..
and opening up to others..
letting others into your life...

r/ships fail at times.. its unavoidable..
its part and parcel of life...
sometimes we just dont think before acting..
resulting in an outcome..
that is worse than we ever imagined..
and after reflecting on your actions..
you realise and wonder..
"i could have done it this way, this way and that..
but why did i choose to do that then....?"
but by then... it's prolly too late.. =(

someone once told me:
"a person must first admit..
that he has made a mistake..
and then admit it to the person..
whom he has caused damage or hurt..
and then accept whatever punishment/penalty..
(if there is any, of course...)
and be willing to change..
or improve himself from then on."
but if a person aint willing..
this whole thing would be rendered meaningless..

i guess we all need to do some reflection..
and make slight adjustments to our lives..
anything that might improve one's disposition...

and we hafta expect the best..
prepare for the worse...
take whatever coming into your pride...
buff ourselves up for the many more trials...
that we'll be expecting in our lifes..

r/ships are developed over time..
a great one would take even longer..

this is terrible... im feeling terrible..
i've been rotting at home for days...
i need to go out and get a job... seriously..
i cant just sit at home and moan..
there's absolutely nothing to do.. n.o.t.h.i.n.g..
im just gonna die of boredom if i dun get off my ass and start searching for a job...

im living the life of a pig now...
sleep till 1 or 2 pm.. laze around after waking up..
talk rubbish with mummy.. or sis if she's around..
bully my lil bro.. scold him and blah~
then eat.. and i'll drift into dreamland..
less than an hour after eating..
gosh!! those kilos are just going to keep coming!!
then once i wake up, i eat again...
sia la.. this cannot carry on...
by the time i start school, i'll be beyond recognition!

haa.. and when there's nothing to do..
the mind goes on auto-drift mode..
which in my opinion, is NOT good..

The cooking-impaired can still have fun by putting together colorful plates of favorite fruits, cheeses, crackers and sweets.

2. Honor the Earth.
As you reap the bounty of the harvest, so can you renew it in a symbolic way. Bring in some healthy new houseplants, and fill your home with flowers and light. For those with a black thumb, bring in cut flowers and collect colorful fall leaves. 5 Things All Women Should Be Grateful For
Married, single or in a relationship, the stuff we often take for granted is just what we should be grateful for!

As its name implies, Thanksgiving is a time when we give thanks for all that we are fortunate enough to have in our lives. Food, shelter, health, love, family, friends... As a general rule, no matter how bad things may sometimes seem, we've all got a lot for which to be thankful. Here are some of the seemingly small things many women take for granted:

Freedom: and I don't mean this in the political sense we're always hearing about on the news. Whether you're single or in a relationship, you have power over the decisions you make. Sometimes they're harder than others, but the simple truth is that you create your own reality by the choices you make. So if you're single, choose to make the most of your time with yourself - don't sit around waiting for a man to complete you - complete yourself and a man to compliment you will come. And if you're involved, remember who you are independent of your partner. The best way to have a healthy, happy relationship is to be two individuals... you know the saying - the whole is only as strong as its parts. It applies to relationships perhaps most of all!

Alone time: even if it's just ten minutes a day, you grow when you get to collect yourself, your thoughts and your feelings. We sometimes have a tendency to avoid alone time. Whether it's because we think it's boring or lonely or just something we can't afford to spare the seconds for in the course of our busy day to day lives, time to we take for ourselves is the time that shapes our lives and we should be grateful for the opportunity to spend time with ourselves. After all, if you don't know how you feel or think or what you want, how can you expect to be happy? Quiet your mind and sit with yourself a little bit each day and you'll find yourself experiencing a growing sense of calm. And while you're at it, take some time to do things on your own on occasion as well. Whether it's renting or going to a movie, going shopping or just sitting outside in the sun, enjoy your own company... you'll have a lot more to offer when you're in the company of someone else.

Girl time: while it's easy for life to revolve around meeting a man, or a relationship with a man, girlfriends are truly people we can't live without!Think about some of the best times you've ever had with "just the girls" and you'll probably find yourself in mini-hysterics. Whether it was your best friend's antics on a college spring break trip, or the conversation at brunch last weekend, some of our most memorable moments are with the girls. Do you ever say thank you? We're all grateful when we meet a great guy (or at least we should be), but very often we forget to appreciate the women who populate our lives in times of singlehood and when we're involved. Make time for your girlfriends one day soon - and let them know how glad you are to have them in your life!

Men: they may drive us crazy with or without them, but at the end of the day, we're glad they're around! Whether you're looking for one, struggling with one, happily single or happily involved, we have to take the time to appreciate the wonder that is the opposite sex. They may think and act different than us a lot of the time, but whether we see it or not, they do feel, and they do want to give love and be loved. So rather than get annoyed the next time your guy (or guy friend) says something you find ridiculous, or chooses a football game over a cocktail party (or vice versa depending on your tastes!), take a second and be grateful for differences. Without them, life would be kind of boring!

The bad times: while they're not fun when they're happening, without them, the good times wouldn't seem so good. Okay, so you're skeptical. After all, a positive spin can be put on anything. But one of the biggest lessons we learn as we get older, is that life is full of ups and downs - and the downs are usually where we make the decisions that shape our lives. If you'd never had your heart broken (on a big or small scale), how would you learn to handle someone else's with care? If you never put in the effort to make a struggling relationship work rather than just giving up, how would you and your mate get any closer? Bad times bring people together... and they allow us to experience joy when things take a turn for the positive. So be grateful for your lessons and know that while they're hard to learn, bad times are the stuff from which you learn to create abundance – in life and in love!

RELATIONSHIP TIPS

1. Relationships cannot survive without commitment. Both commitment to each other and to the relationship. Make a conscious commitment to your relationship and to your partner. Taking the garbage out, folding the laundry, making dinner, bringing them a cold drink, fixing the hair dryer, or even putting the toilet seat down!

3. Acceptance is key to successful relationships. No matter what, you have to accept every thing about your partner. If there is something about him/her that you simply cannot accept then the relationship probably is in trouble. Remember, acceptance is NOT approval. For instance, your partner may be an alcoholic. This is not your choice, it is theirs. It is also not your place to cure them - it is theirs. In the same respect though, it is your place to accept them for who they are and what they are - to accept that they are an alcoholic. But, in no way, does acceptance mean that you have to approve! Acceptance and approval are not the same thing. Period.

4. Honestly take a look at your role in any relationship problems. Yes, you can change other people - simply by changing yourself!

5. Be aware of how you communicate! Are you guilty of hearing in a defensive mode and speaking in an offensive mode? Do you 'act'or 'react'?

6. Your partner is not a mind reader. Be specific when asking for something, or relaying your needs. If necessary, write them down on paper if talking about them makes you uncomfortable.

7. Sometimes the biggest mistakes we can make is to think that relationships are something we have to 'work' at. Stop 'working' on your relationship! Develop good communication skills, acceptance, appreciation, commitment, and trust. The relationship will follow.

8. Be aware that power struggles and insecurities often masquerade themself as love. This is false love. True love is supportive. For help in saving your relationship, mending bad relationships, and stopping your breakup or divorce read 'This Side Of Good-Bye'. 9. Most relationships can be 'salvaged', transformed, and bettered. Breaking up and moving on doesn't solve the problem as any 'issues' you may have, and will follow you into any new relationships.

sec sch rox

yep.. u heard me right..
my sec sch pals rawks big time!!
each and every single one of them from CHR..

today was supposed to be a movie outing..
play some pool before the movie..
followed by chilling out at some pub...
BUT...... due to pple not being able to confirm...
and some backing out last minute....
plus, tickets were not booked..
and its technically impossible to get seats for 7 or 8..
esp if you want it in a row.. and not front seats..
so we ended up playing pool..
then buying alcohol and tidbits from carrefour..
and finally ended up at my place (again)..
played mahjong, blackjack.. won a little bit..
just enuf to cover my expenses today.. muahaha..
ordered canadian pizza for dinner..
but some blur sotong ordered small pizza..
and when it arrived, all kenna stunned...
so many pple, 2 small pizzas..
victor and herman ended up not eating anything..

well.. totally enjoyed myself today..
now, i've to organise my jc class outing..
dinner on thursday.. but no idea whr we heading to..
or shud i plan it on a weekend?
i dunno.. shall ask pple for suggestions.. =)

what a day~

jus finished 2 rounds of mahjong with my family and frens..
lost abit... but its nothing compared to baoyan's losses..
mom and sis were the big winners of the day..
and well.. 'mom' (aka baoyan) treated us to supper..
mac delivery... finally gotta eat my mcwings..
why is 'mom' aka baoyan??
cuz its supposed to be my real mom's treat....
but due to the immense losses suffered by baoyan..
we said dat mac was on her..

well... slept till 1pm plus today...
was really shagged due to yesterday's activities..
then had to drag myself out the door to meet my pals..
was supposed to meet them at 2.30pm..
but all turned up late.. haha..
and we're supposed to catch the 3pm screening of "The Exorcism of Emily Rose"...
i reached cineleisure at abt 3... haha..
then had to distribute invitations to them..
the shortie's bday party invitations..

the show is nice.. meaningful..
would encourage all to watch, even the non-religious..
cuz i aint a religious person too..
hmm... then after that, we went for lunch..
parklane wanton noodles @ sunshine plaza..
dint taste as good as the one @ bugis..
but well, gobbled it up anyway.. was starving already..
had initially planned for desserts..
however, some were filling quite full already..
so suggested that we go eat after playing pool...

ooh~ today finally went to a gay pub!!
been wanting to go for quite some time already..
and we finally went today! yay~
went to 'happy' @ tanjong pagar thr..
after mabel's bday party, that is...
atmosphere wasnt bad..
they had this launch of madonna's new album party too..
till 11pm.. en lai from kids central was da emcee..
he's pretty cool.. and there was a bunch of break-dancers too..
their performance was awesome!
i feel like learning now too!! anyone interested?? lols..

pretty enjoyed the music even thou its techno..
and oh my~~ g@ys galore!!
and they're so hunky material la..
soon.. we saw lots of half-naked men swaying to the beat..
and smooching... making out.... lols..
first time seeing such stuff... pretty awed..
actually proud to say i aint disgusted at all..
anyway... saw this half-naked guy dancing at the podium..
and he had a BELLY PIERCING!!
so...... some guy out there with a belly piercing pls pay attention..

wierd stench

argh.. at home right now..
and there's a wierd stench coming from whoever's in my living room..
shall not name names..
he/she is a fren of mine anyway..
making himself/herself so comfy on my sofa sia..
i dun even feel like entertaining him/her..
oh.. why is he/she here??
to charge his/her phone.. haa...
thank god he/she aint in my room..
blessed is my bed.. spared from the agony..
and me too.. when im going to sleep at night...

anyways.. meeting my dear SIAO #1 later.. yay~
going to get mabel's present first ba..
then since the both of us are sOoOOoo the absolutely sian..
we have decided to go drinking tonight~
cuz we need an activity that allows us to chill..
and not use our brain cells...
i've exhausted nearly 99% of my brain cells today..
feel so shagged..
dint sleep the whole of last night..
can feel its toll on me already.. but i jus dun wanna slp~
mom is nagging at me to go slp..
