eventful week..

Headed over to Downtown East over the weekend for Marvin's birthday celebration. He had 2 free tickets into either Wild Wild Wet or Escape and after taking a breather from carrying all the barang-barangs into his secluded chalet, we headed down to the latter for some fun.

It's been a long time since I've stepped into Escape and it definitely wasn't as fun as I had wanted but it'll have to do. After taking each ride once, we headed back to the chalet for some mahjong. It's an addiction, I tell you.

Anyway, I pretty much enjoyed myself. Oh, and did I tell you that the Ben & Jerry's there is super worth the money? The girls there were super generous with the amount of servings! Whipped cream, hot fudge, rainbow rice. It made my day basically. Nothing beats having ice cream melting away in your mouth.

I'm missing Boyfriend already. I won't be seeing him till this Thursday. Haha. Mumsie's complaining that we're meeting too often, but it never seems to be enough. I heart Boyfriend. =)

lost and found..

Lost my precious Sony MP3 to the drain while on my way to meet Boyfriend. What luck! It just slipped out of my hand while I was trying to tighten the earphones' cable around it. Poof, and goodbye. I could only bid it goodbye as I crossed the street, while making a call to Boyfriend to whine about my butter fingers and bad luck. And sadly, all he could do was comfort me through the phone and promising to see if we can retrieve it when he sends me back later.

Thankfully, it was not the grill kind of drain. If not, everyone would've probably seen the MP3 and attempted to take it away. And just now, Boyfriend did help me lift up the drain cover and YES! The MP is still there. So... YAY!! THREE CHEERS AND THREE CHEERS AND THREE CHEERS FOR BOYFRIEND! He's the best. Even mumsie says he's a good catch. Sending me back from his place, aka Woodlands, and then going back again. Not many bad habits and most importantly, PAMPERS ME! Hahaha.

Oh how I love Boyfriend. He REALLY is the best.

Thanks for being so tolerant. I know my behaviour is atrocious sometimes but you've never flared up at me. Even though there was once where I felt a tinge of volcanic eruption but nope, you still kept it in. Oh, how blessed am I to have you by my side, lavishing me with all that love.

All these little bits and pieces - how you happily booked tickets for next week's movie, thinking it was screening today; how you always try to hide it from me that you've been smoking; how you just pamper me, giving in to me all the time. They just make me want to love you more.

I'm starting to miss you already. And it's been barely an hour since you've left. Dammmmmit. I'm love-sick.

But whatever. Hee. =)

happy souls~

Slept like a pig, even after breakfast. Woke up at around 3 plus and recieved a call from Boyfriend, asking me whether I had anything on tonight. Obviously not since I've got no life. Hahahaha. Ok, that was meant to be a joke! Not for real. Duh. And he asked me to bring along my Daddy's identity card. Do you know what that means? It practically screams NEW PHONE. How I heart my sweetie pie.

Anyway, Shorty woke up just as I was about to leave the house and asked me where I'm going. And she wanted to tag along. Well, she had been bugging me to go out shopping since this morning so, "Call me when you reach."

I think Shorty's pretty contented because she got the Fossil wallet that I was attempting to snatch from her, but apparently I found nicer designs in the shop which I plan to buy later on. She saw them too, after she purchased her item and I think I saw a tinge of regret. Hahaha. I'm happy. Bleh. Oh, and she went on her shopping spree, where she bought a jacket, another polo shirt, t-shirt, foundation and I dunno what else.

Had dinner at Pepper Lunch yet again. And this time round, our clothes reeked of teppanyaki food. Check out my all time favourite - Beef Pepper Rice. Look, smoke is still coming out of the dish. It's so yummi-licious.

Boyfriend bought himself a pair of Crocs slippers at Isetan. Which we later saw was on a 10% discount at the World of Sports outlet at Marina Square. Like how irritating is that.

As for me, I didn't get the new phone as I had expected because now I'm aiming for the Sony Ericsson K800i. Hahaha. Boyfriend said I'll get it when he gets his pay. Yay! And I'm happy because I spent yet another day with my ever-tolerant boy. I'm still attempting to make him mad at me but apparently nothing is working. Which is a good sign. And I can never grow sick of looking at him. Actually, I can't seem to get enough of him. Oops. Did I sound too disgusting? But I don't care. I LOVE BOYFRIEND!!

All's good. We're 3 happy souls. Smile.

happy birthdays..

Happy Birthday Singapore. Happy Birthday Granny. Kudos to mommy dearest for preparing such a sumptous feast today. And boy did I have my fill. Even though the much anticipated crabs were not on the table today, I believe all of us enjoyed dinner very much. Thanks alot mumsie. Just take a look at the spread. Abalone soup, sweet and sour pork ribs, Japanese-style fried chicken, blah blah blah. You can always count on mumsie for the best food. Yummi-licious.

Boyfriend came over for dinner as well. And I hope he enjoyed himself too. Even though I caught him napping on my sofa halfway through the celebrations. Hmph. Had a hell of a time 'raping' Huishi's camera, camwhoring is just so much fun even though I look quite retarded. Hahaha. Anyway, back to the main character - Granny. She's probably the cutest grandma anyone can ever have, just that she loves to nag. A lot. Not that others don't, but... You get the drift. Oh, and check out the cake - DURIAN! It's so yummy and it's rather cheap too. Got myself TWO slices of that irresistable thing.

It's really goodbye. I've finally put everything away, tucking away all memories into the infinite depth of my mind. Took the bouquet you gave me for my birthday last year and threw it away into the rubbish bin. From now on, I will cease to think about you, to bitch about you, or to even let your name affect me in any way.

PMS or menopause?

Your behaviour was totally childish. It's not as if you didn't know us. We've been friends for 8 years, going on to 9. I even SMSed you beforehand to inform you. And your 'so many SMS' to me was how many? 2. I don't think either of us failed Maths. Wait, I am quite sure I didn't fail mine. It was just a matter of minutes before I reach and you insisted on going home. Think about others before yourself can? You're just always so self-centred. How are others going to communicate with you? You always think you're the victim when the actions you do cause others more misery than your physical suffering.

Right now, I wash my hands off this matter. I only have one word for you - WHATEVER.

counting my blessings..

This is one of the nicest mails I have seen and is so true:

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.

My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, "This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received." I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section. The angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them."

I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working Hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. "This is the Acknowledgment Section," my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed.

"How is it that there's no work going on here?" I asked.

"So sad," the angel sighed. "After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments."

"How does one acknowledge God's blessings?" I asked.

"Simple," the angel answered. "Just say, "Thank you, Lord."

"What blessings should they acknowledge?" I asked.

"If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep ... you are richer than 75% of this world.

"If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

"And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity."

Also ...

"If you woke up this morning with more health than illness .... you are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day.

"If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are ahead of 700 million people in the world.

"If you can attend a church meeting without the fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death ... you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion people in the world.
